A long time…

It’s been a long time since I posted on here so thought would do a little update…..

Over the last year or so i have found my self spending more and more time doing programming for work. From VB6, C#, PHP, Java and VB.NET. I have lost count how many applications i have written that are now used day in day… It’s something i have really got into since starting at the company, and its something i never really expected to get into with the company.

I’ve always done a lot of side projects out side of work, the last year has seen me get back into doing sound for events. For the last 8 years i have been doing lighting for events in the area, but with people moving on I have moved back into doing sound for bands/events. It can get tiring doing sound and lights for an event but it is someting i have really enjoyed, and have been excited again to put my skills back to some use…

Pool teams, Over the last few years I have been playing in a couple of pool leagues, I have now managed to pull away from a couple of them, and i’m finding it really nice to have some time to relax in the week rather then been out every night..

I know its a very quick update, but hopefully should be back sometime soon with some more updates.

August – Busy Busy

Why does August always seem so busy,

There ain’t many days in august that i ain’t go something in the calendar for..

Last Couple of weeks been busy arranging stuff for a few events that are happening over the next month or so.

Second big event this month starts on wedneday, three days in a school, then two days on a outdoor stage, the fun… Hopefully thats about all organised now…

Last week i had a week of so time to catch up on all the missed work :s or not

Well september came and went faster then i care to imagine.

After a exhausting arranging/setup/pack down for an event last weekend i’ve been trying to get back into a normal work week.

For those that haven’t heard i was doing lighting in a local catherdral for a couple of concerts, it went extremely well bit with over a 20hour setup it required a lot of time. (take a look at the pictures http://www.thisgenerationservices.co.uk/gallery.php?gallery_id=22&subgallery_id=37)

Thats two cathedrals in one month, also been asked to do lighting for another couple of events in november, so i hope they go just as well.

I got a new car this month as well, little beast of a diesal at 2.2 ltr with all the bells and whistles

Been to a few speedway races recently as well, makes a nice change
